Setup

Use this page to get started. You do not need technical knowledge—just follow the steps in order.

Downloads (only if your PC isn’t already set up)

Full installer (Windows)

One-click setup: Agent, Bridge, Session service, UI, and Node runtime. Run the installer, then start LS360-Terminal from the Start Menu or Desktop.

Zip: extract anywhere, then double-click Start-LS360.cmd. No separate Node install needed.

1) RealScan Driver (required for Windows to see the scanner)

If the scanner doesn’t show up after you plug it in, you may need the RealScan USB driver installed. Your admin/vendor should provide the driver installer for your PC.

2) RealScan SDK (required for USB capture)

This software uses Suprema/Xperix RealScan SDK to capture fingerprints over USB. Your admin/vendor should provide the SDK installer/zip.

Before you begin

  • Plug in the RealScan scanner to USB.
  • Wait 10–20 seconds for Windows to recognize it.
  • Make sure the app is running (you should be able to open the website).

Start a fingerprint session

  1. Open the Capture screen: Start Session in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Refresh to load the scanner list.
  3. In Select device, choose your scanner (example: RealScan‑G10 (USB 0)).
  4. Click Start session.
  5. Preview turns on automatically. Place fingers on the glass when instructed.
  6. Click the capture buttons (Slaps or Rolls). Wait until the result appears in the Session log.
  7. When finished, click End session.

Troubleshooting

I don’t see the scanner in the list

  • Unplug the USB cable and plug it back in.
  • Click Refresh again.
  • Try a different USB port.
  • Close the browser tab and reopen the app.

It says “Bridge disconnected”

  • The background services may not be running yet. Wait a moment and refresh the page.
  • If it stays disconnected, restart the app.

Capture fails or says “aborted”

  • Click End session, then Start session again.
  • Make sure your fingers are placed flat and steady on the glass.
